This is a 50 Micron Washable Nylon Filter which can be used as a sediment filter for use in standard 10 inch housings.
This is a permanent filter which can be removed from its housing and cleaned with a scrubbing brush then returned to the housing ready for use again.
Generally used in heavy sediment conditions whereby the standard cotton filter would be getting blocked regularly rendering it impractical.
